Adam Eguia
District 4 President -
My name is Adam Eguia and I would like to introduce myself and give you some history of my involvement with VFW Auxiliary. I first joined Post 6236 under the Men's Auxiliary in 2003. I served as President from 2003-2015, excluding one year. I was then elected as President for VFW Auxiliary to Post 6236 and have proudly held this position since I joined. My resume also includes holding offices as 4th District Trustee and currently 4th District President, which is an honor for me to hold.
During my service in my roles for VFW Auxiliary, I have advocated for community and Veteran support. Post 6236 Auxiliary has financially supported numerous local charities and entities that serve our area in a capacity to assist members, as well as their families. I have encouraged the sponsorship of the Voice of Democracy with involvement of local students. Most recently, I have added the backing for Scouting, including Cub & Boy Scouts. These contributions were only made possible by the conjoined efforts of the members of Post 6236. I am very proud to be part of such a great group of people that have compassion to give unselfishly to assist others.
It has been my objective as President of my local Auxiliary, and I will continue as 4th District President to return gratitude to our Veterans by supporting, offering any assistance possible and for keeping alive the memory of their services to our great nation. May God bless our great country !
