My name is Andrew Thomas, and I am honored to serve as your 2026-2027 District 11 President from VFW Post 2999 Auxiliary in Indianapolis, IN.

I am a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Indiana National Guard from 2010 to 2016 with the 1538th Transportation Company out of Elkhart, IN. I have been a member of the VFW Auxiliary since 2023. During this time, I have served as a pro tem guard Post 261, President (2025-2026) post 261, District 11 Sr. Vice President (2025-2026), and Department of Indiana floor team (2025- present).

In my free time, I enjoy going for long motorcycle rides, visiting other VFW posts, and catching up with the many friends I have met across Indiana and other states.

I look forward to working with all of you to help the Department of Indiana have a highly successful 2026-2027 program year.
